Al Fanar General Contracting, Construction, Trade, Import and Export announced, in a statement to the stock market, it won two contracts from ABB and Orascom at an overall value of EGP 4.6million.
The company won a contract from ABB for Basos power station at EGP 2 million. It was also awarded a contract worth EGP 2.6 million from Orascom for Emaar Marasi project.
The company’s financial statements for H1-14 had shown net loss of EGP 286 thousand, against EGP 242 thousand net profit in H1-13. The company posted EGP 130 thousand net profit for FY13, with a 76% fall year-over-year from EGP 549 thousand. Sales revenue also fell 24% to EGP 6.208 million from EGP 8.118 million in FY12.
